JCECEB has published the notification of Jharkhand Polytechnic Counseling 2024 for admission in the academic year 2024-25 for Polytechnic courses. Candidates eligible for admission in Jharkhand Polytechnic institutes can participate in the counseling process as per the CML rank and category rank obtained in the result published by JCECEB. Candidates included in the Merit list and having positive marks should select the branch / institute for themselves from the available institutes / branches as per priority by online counseling.
- Candidates are advised to select as many options as possible for the allocation of seats.
- Candidates can participate in the counseling process as per the result published by JCECEB for Jharkhand Polytechnic Counseling.
- Seat allocation to the candidate will be done as per CML rank and category rank.
- Only candidates included in the Merit list and having positive marks can participate in the counseling process.
- There is no restriction on the number of branch/institute choices a candidate can make, but the branch/institute choices have to be made as per priority.

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of the Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually (depending upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand for the respective session.
