Jharkhand ITI Merit List 2026
Admission in Jharkhand ITI institutes will be conducted strictly based on the merit list prepared by the Jharkhand Directorate of Employment and Training. The merit list will be created on the basis of marks obtained in the candidate’s Class 8th or Class 10th board examination, depending on the eligibility criteria of the trade applied for.
All eligible candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be able to participate in the online counselling process. During counselling, candidates can select their preferred course and ITI institute for admission.
Types of Merit List
- Class 8th Based Merit List: Prepared for trades that require 8th pass qualification. In case of a tie, the candidate with an earlier date of birth (older age) will be given higher rank.
- Class 10th Based Merit List: For trades that require 10th pass qualification. Tie-breaking criteria remain the same.
