Under the Jharkhand e Kalyan Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of Jharkhand Government, online applications have been invited by educational institutions for registration on the e-Kalyan portal for SC / ST / Backward Caste students taking admission in Jharkhand state and outside the state for the academic session 2023-24. Students who missed the session 2023-24 can apply for Jharkhand e Kalyan Post Matric Scholarship till 25 October 2024.
- Jharkhand e-Kalyan portal will remain open for post-matric 2024-25 students till 20 March 2025.
- Students can directly apply for the session 2024-25.
e Kalyan Scholarship Eligibility
To apply for Jharkhand e Kalyan Scholarship, students must fulfill the following criteria:-
- Only permanent and local residents of Jharkhand state can apply for Jharkhand e Kalyan scholarship.
- This scholarship scheme is applicable only for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC poor category.
- For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, maximum family income should be up to 2.5 lakhs.
- For OBC category, maximum family income should be up to 2.5 lakhs.
- Students studying in any faculty and any class above 10th can apply for the benefit of this scholarship scheme.
- Under the new rules, students pursuing general graduate courses such as BA, BSc, B.Com, including degree diploma and other courses from universities and institutes outside the state will not get scholarship.
